Battery Warranty

Peace of mind with our Australia-wide battery warranty

Our batteries come with an Australia-wide warranty of up to three years, giving you support long after installation. If you have a concern about your battery, our team is here to help.

What your warranty includes

Your warranty covers defects in the battery’s materials and workmanship. If an assessment confirms a fault covered by your warranty, we’ll arrange a replacement battery at no cost.

The warranty period depends on your battery and its intended use. Your cover is confirmed at purchase and begins on the original purchase date.

Need help with your battery?

Call 1300 668 434 and we’ll guide you through the assessment process. Have your vehicle details and invoice number or other proof of purchase handy. You’re welcome to share any relevant test reports with us.

We offer mobile assessments within our Sydney service area. If you’re elsewhere in Australia, contact us and we’ll help you find an appropriate inspection location.

Free battery testing is also available through our participating dealers. Contact us first so we can confirm the right location and warranty assessment process for your battery.

Please keep the battery available for inspection and contact us where practical before removing or replacing it.

Understanding your battery warranty

A flat battery does not always need replacing. Lights left on, limited driving or a separate vehicle fault can cause a battery to lose charge. Testing helps us identify the cause and explain your options.

The warranty covers battery defects. It does not cover unrelated vehicle faults, or battery discharge and damage caused by:

  • Lights or accessories left on, or unwanted electrical drains.
  • Extended storage or insufficient vehicle use without maintaining the battery’s charge.
  • Alternator, charging-system, starter-motor, wiring or terminal connection faults.
  • Misuse, incorrect charging, overcharging or use in an unsuitable application.
  • Incorrect installation, removal, refitting or modifications by others.

External damage, including impacts, corrosion, fire, freezing or explosion.

These exclusions do not apply where a battery defect or a fault in our work caused the problem. Normal wear is not a manufacturing defect, but your Australian Consumer Law rights still apply.

Arranging your assessment

We cover assessment and replacement costs for approved warranty claims. There is also no charge for resolving a problem we must remedy under Australian Consumer Law, including a fault in our installation.

If a mobile assessment identifies a problem outside this cover, a diagnostic attendance fee may apply. We’ll explain the amount and when it applies and obtain your agreement before booking a visit. Any additional work will be quoted for your approval.

We reimburse reasonable return costs where required by Australian Consumer Law. Contact us with your claim details and receipts. If you’ve paid a diagnostic fee and the same issue is later confirmed to be covered, we’ll refund that fee.

Looking after your battery

If your battery goes flat, charging it promptly with a suitable charger can help prevent lasting damage. A jump-start or short drive may not fully recharge it. Follow your vehicle and charger instructions, and have any underlying vehicle fault addressed to help prevent the problem from returning.

Additional information

This warranty provides additional protection alongside your existing consumer rights.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
